The Donut Nook wasn't born from a business plan — it was born from a craving. Our founder kept searching Chico for a donut that tasted like something made with actual care, not just a recipe from a box. When they couldn't find it, they decided to make it themselves.
Today, every donut that leaves our kitchen is hand-rolled, hand-fried, and hand-frosted — right here on East Ave. We source real butter, local eggs, and flavorings that don't need a chemistry degree to pronounce. That's the Nook promise: donuts good enough to share, even though you probably won't want to.
